CANCELLATION/INTERRUPTION INSURANCE
The CANCELLATION/INTERRUPTION OF STAY cover is offered for rentals in mainland France of less than 365 days and whose rental amount does not exceed €120,000.00.Its purpose is to reimburse all or part of the rent paid to the owner if you are obliged to cancel, interrupt or postpone your stay subsequent to an event covered in the contract: serious illness, death, summons, change of job, etc. You thus protect the cost of your stay.
If you are renting a property through a specialist agency, the agency fees are automatically covered.
The cover can be extended to include the return transport (aeroplane, train or boat). You thus protect the cost of your transport.
We have enhanced this cover with exclusive extras such as:
- The reimbursement of additional costs borne by you to pay for alternative accommodation if the rented property does not match its description, or if a major claim renders it uninhabitable shortly before your arrival.
- Family cover, which enables the Cancellation/Interruption cover to be applied to all insured parties in the contract, even if only one of them is prevented from participating in the stay.
- The reimbursement of costs consecutive to damage you may accidentally cause to the rented accommodation and its contents. You thus protect your deposit.
